Rev. Dr. Robert F. Hargrove, Sr. is Pastor and Founder of the Christ Care Unit Missionary Baptist Church in Sicklerville, NJ. On June 14, 1981, he started the church with eleven members. Today, the membership has grown significantly.

Dr. Hargrove became license in the ministry and was ordained on February 20, 1977 by Bishop Alden Gaines of the Consolation Baptist Church in Philadelphia, PA.  Dr. Hargrove graduated from the following colleges:  Community College of Philadelphia in 1974 with an Associates of Arts Degree in Science; Philadelphia College of Bible in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Theology; Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1991 with a Masters Degree in Theology and Public Policy, Covington Theology Seminary in 1997 with a Doctorate of Ministry Degree and a Ph.D. from the North Carolina College of Theology in 2009.

Under his leadership, a 96 unit senior housing complex has been built. In 2005, the church received a donation of 32.9 Acres of land, where they plan to build 94 low to moderate income houses. Dr. Hargrove gives all glory and praise to God for the great things He has done.
